Le bilan d'extension d'un adénocarcinome du pancréas

Pancreatic carcinoma is one of the deadliest cancer. Surgery is the only curative therapy but less than 20% of patients will undergo surgery in a curative intent, as main are diagnosed with locally advanced or metastatic disease. MDCT remains the most important examination for tumor staging and description of vascular conditions and may be helped by MRI for hepatic metastasis. The use of reporting templates is mandatory to standardize the management of pancreatic carcinoma.
