Abstract
Herein, we demonstrate a facile synthesis of CDs-MoS2-Fe3O4 nanohybrid composites as an efficient photocatalyst to enhance the removal of dyes from wastewater. Detailed characterization through SEM, TEM, EDAS, UV-vis, XRD, FT-IR and VSM confirmed the synthesis of thin MoS2 nanosheets and the formation of the nanohybrid composites. As a result, CDs-MoS2-Fe3O4 exhibits excellent reusability through magnetic separation and its degradation rate of methylene blue as high as 96.8% with few additions of materials (25â¯Î¼g/ml). The ultrahigh photocatalytic performance and chemical stability, accompanied with this facile and simple synthetic process, promising CDs-MoS2-Fe3O4 as a low-cost, ultrahigh-performance and robust photocatalyst in practical dyes degradation.
