Abstract
⺠The relationship between perfectionism dimensions and need thwarting was examined. ⺠Multivariate and univariate relationships were identified. ⺠Perfectionistic concerns was associated with higher levels of need thwarting. ⺠Perfectionistic striving was also associated with higher levels of need thwarting. ⺠The univariate relationships differed depending on the dimensions of perfectionism assessed.
