Abstract
												Synovial membranes, bursas and tenosynovial sheaths are lying around joints and tendons overall. Since there are vascularized, various types of inflammation can involve these structures. Rheumatologist will have to handle such infectious, or inflammatory, specific processes such as sarcoidosis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout. Moreover rare diseases can also develop with synovial tissues or bursas. A potpourri of various disease such as benign tumors, vascular malformations and hemostasis disorders, etc, will also be discussed in this short review.
