Abstract
The HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor pitavastatin was foundto be noninferior to simvastatin in terms of reducing LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, and triglyceride levels, and increasing HDL cholesterol levels, in Korean patients with hypercholesterolemia after8 weeks of treatment.
