Abstract
For the “wet” form of the macular degeneration, macular translocation is a promising treatment modality that offers patients a chance to improve their vision. This involves moving the macula so that the retina lies over a healthier part of the choroid layer beneath it. The aim of this work was to develop a numerical model able to predict this relative displacement between the retina and the choroid as a function of the initial fold depth.
