Abstract
The programme promotes interdisciplinary teamwork and a holistic view of the individual with visual impairment. Students should be able to develop, to manage, to conduct and to support adequate service for individuals of all ages with varying degrees of visual impairment (blindness and low vision). The programme is distributed over five semesters (2 and a half year of part-time studies and distance education). This article describes the comprehensive programme.
