Abstract
The 6th International Conference on High Levels of Natural Radiation and Radon Areas (6HLNRRA) conference was summarized from the viewpoint of dosimetry studies. In this part, radon and thoron studies were focused on. Here are three points to be mentioned as follows: (1) importance of radon exposure; (2) inconsistency in dose conversion factors (DCFs) between dosimetric and epidemiological approaches; (3) underestimation of thoron in the past studies.
