Abstract
An adult in Slovenia, who has partially or totally lost sight, is entitled to at least some basic aids and some financial assistance, which does not suffice for survival. Such a person, however, is not entitled to comprehensive rehabilitation, which would equip him/her for as independent living as possible and would emanate form the loss of sight per se. Therefore we are endeavoring to have this right enshrined in the legislation governing the system of public health.
