Abstract
An integrated approach in which all the factors that can be responsible for the CPP are involved has to be offered to the patient from the start, preferable already by the General Practitioner. It seems most likely that women with CPP has to be offered the same treatment as women with other chronic pain syndromes, with the difference that gender specific problems related to the genitals and procreation and sexuality are more prominent.
