Abstract
Physiotherapists, because of their academic training, are authorized to carry out assessment of the muscular-skeletal system. They must know and be familiar with the concept of injury, with the regulations of the civil code regarding the rights and obligations the person has in respect to the cause of the injury and the various criteria used by the injury assessor to assess compensation. Lastly, they must also know the guideliness to follow in the completion of an injury assessment report.
