Quelques remarques à propos de l'usage de la notion de « sujet » en psychanalyse

RésuméLa notion, et le terme, de « sujet », sont aussi rares chez Freud qu'omniprésents chez Lacan. Cette différence est-elle un simple accident terminologique, ou témoigne-t-elle, au contraire, de deux conceptions réellement distinctes de l'inconscient ? On tentera ici d'aborder ce problème à l'aide de la catégorie, centrale chez Freud comme chez Lacan, de « représentation ».

The notion and the term of « subject » are as rare in Freud as they are omnipresent in Lacan. Is this difference a simple terminological accident or does it, on the contrary, testify to the existence of two really distinct conceptions of the unconscious? We shall try to approach this question with the aid of the category, which is central to both Freud and Lacan, of « representation ».
