Abstract
•We examined psychotropic drug use in children with ADHD and anxiety.•The overall follow-up time was occupied almost evenly by no treatment (∼30%), mono-(∼40%) and combination pharmacotherapy (∼30%).•Treatment prevalence of ADHD outweighed treatment of anxiety.•Both clinical and non-clinical factors had impact on combination pharmacotherapy.•Significant treatment differences exist among the 26 US study states.
