Abstract
Congenital atrio-ventricular block is an unusual disease, which can have complications such as syncope or sudden death at any time. We report the case of a 17-year-old woman, who had presented a serial convulsive crisis which was at the foreground. Isolated congenital atrio-ventricular block has a good prognosis but it there are some bad prognosis factors making installation of a pacemaker imperative although the age which it should be implanted remains controversial. The electrocardiogram remains an essential tool for prehospital managment.
