Abstract
The diagnosis of posttraumatic adrenal hematoma, which can lead to unusual but serious complications, is difficult to establish. CAT-scan, used during the routine workup of thoraco-abdominal traumatism confirms the diagnosis, often masked by associated visceral or parietal injuries. Blood tests are rarely contributive. We report the case of a 63-year-old, who presented a right adrenal hematoma after a fall. The only associated injury was a fracture of the 7th right rib.
