Abstract
Massive feto-maternal haemorrhage is a grave clinical picture which, in the majority of cases, happens in gestations near to term with no risk factors. It is for this reason that this diagnosis should be considered in any patient with diminished foetal movements, cardiotocogram with a sinusoidal pattern and an increase in the speed of flow of the middle cerebral artery.
