Abstract
Via a proteomic approach, we analyzed the difference between proteomes of hypertrophic hearts of hypertensive and normotensive rats and observed a number of over or under expressed proteins in damaged hearts. These data illustrate a hitherto unexplored use of proteomics to discover new therapeutic targets for antihypertensive drugs.
