This study has demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in urinary and erectile symptoms by means of the IPSS and FE/IIEF. Also, sildenafil at 50mg/day is well tolerated. Despite the limitations of the study, its results open the door for an approach with studies with a more robust design which may cast light on the subject. The determination of the physiopathological relationship may provide a revolutionary approach in the treatment of LUTS in males with ED.
