Abstract
This process is multidisciplinary and requires two consecutive psychological assessment periods, which can take place at the beginning of the hormone treatment, and the psychological support in the so-called real life experience phase. The psychological treatment must be individualized and the therapeutics goals should include the following: Support in cognitive and emotional difficulties, development of coping skills and the adherence to the medical treatment.
