Abstract
The frequency of XX males in our infertility clinic was 0.087% (4/4,560), representing an incidence nearly 20 times higher than that expected in a general population (0.005%; 1/20,000). All 4 XX male patients were sterile as a result of azoospermia. Despite the dissociation between gonadal sex and chromosomal sex, clinical examination only revealed testicular atrophy, with no other phenotypic alterations.
