Abstract
⺠We analyzed changes in object exploration behaviors and self-exploration behaviors in healthy 2-5-month-old infants. ⺠After infants learned to reach for objects, they increased exploration of both objects and their own bodies. ⺠Infants adapt their self-exploratory behaviors by amplifying and combining them in unique ways to interact with objects.
