Abstract
The validity of intraoperative neovascularization identification is poor, but the surgeon is able to recognize non-neovascularization recurrences with relatively high accuracy. The etiologic classification of recurrent veins at the saphenofemoral junction should not be solely based on macroscopic criteria.
