Abstract
Benign positional paroxysmal vertigos constitute a third of all cases of vertigos. It is a real rotational vertigo triggered by head movements. It lasts less than 20 seconds. It seems to be the consequence of gravitation-induced movement of otoliths. A therapeutic manoeuvre or repositioning manoeuvre, helps curing the patient. Differential diagnosis should be done with rare cases of posterior fossa tumours.
