Abstract
Retrobulbar intraconal cavernous hemangiomas can be removed successfully through a transconjunctival approach with minimal damage to surrounding tissues. This method is best for tumors whose anterior borders are in contact or very close to the eye even if the posterior border abuts the orbital apex.
