Abstract
Based on osseointegration of dental implants, submerged or not, implantology constitutes a secured clinical science. The diminution of treatment delay and more specifically the immediate loading of implants is a more frequent practice. Its development is based on an improvement of patients comfort and on biological and functional considerations. The aim of this paper is to present 2 different protocols on the immediate loading of implants in the edentulous mandible using fixed prosthesis, and to discuss on the prosthetic factors of its success.
