Abstract
The aim of this clinical study is to show that functional rehabilitation can be beneficial prior to orthodontic treatment but also that it optimises treatment mechanics by neutralising the dysfunctional and parafunctional muscular forces which disrupt incisal guidance. It is particularly relevant after orthodontic treatment in that it helps ensure stable long-term results.
