Abstract
Although transconjunctival blepharoplasty diminishes the occurrence of postoperative complications when compared to the transcutaneous method and constitutes a more comfortable option for the patient, we always recommend a preoperative test of the eyes. Patients must be informed of the risk of amaurosis.
