Abstract

Adding salmeterol to fluticasone reduces allergen-induced serum IL-5 and peripheral blood eosinophils. This phenomenon may contribute to the improved clinical outcomes that result from adding a long-acting Î²2-agonist to inhaled corticosteroids.
