Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Pituitary Surgery

The endonasal endoscopic approach facilitates faster post operative recovery by avoidance of the traditional incision and post operative nasal packing. The endoscope offers a panoramic view of the sphenoid sinus and with improved optics, illumination and magnification has made visualization of the sellar and suprasellar possible. Hence there is the potential for a more complete tumor resection and better preservation of pituitary function.
