Abstract
												In northeast Brazil cutaneous leishmaniasis due to Leishmania braziliensis is constantly accompanied by an extensive lymphadenopathy. This may help to identify patients when lesions are still small or have not even developed and lymphadenopathy is the only clinical sign.
