Abstract
Behaviour of practitioners in terms of Recommendations is extremely variable, depending on several social, psychological, economical factors ; the level of knowledge plays also a role: these factors are variably associated and they differ from one to another practice area. All “local actors” playing a role in antibiotic use must be implicated. This review analyses these factors and presents few solutions for control of antibiotic prescription.
