Abstract
Strongyloidiasis is an original and cosmopolitan parasitic infection. Durability of the disease is explained by the auto-reinfection cycle particularities, in the absence of new contamination. Severe systemic strongyloidiases are described in patients with immunodeficiency. Polymorph clinical features are observed, from cutaneous Larva currens to fatal disseminated systemic strongyloidiasis. Effective stool examination needs the use of Baermann's method and duodenal endoscopy biopsy. Treatment has become quite easy with ivermectine.
