Abstract
The preoperative and pathologic predictors of organ-confined disease and biochemical recurrence were similar in both age groups. The results of this study have demonstrated that radical retropubic prostatectomy can be performed with good results and low complication rates in men with localized prostate cancer who are younger than 50 years of age.
