RETRACTED: Quantification of mitochondrial DNA using real-time polymerase chain reaction in patients with premature ovarian failure

Reason: The article was originally published in the Korean Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology in January 2004, Korean Obstet. Gynecol., 4 (2004) 16-24, under a different title. This is a violation of the Fertility and Sterility policy against duplicate publication, clearly stated in the journal's “Information for Authors”. The corresponding author, Dr. Sook-Hwan Lee, states that she, alone among the persons listed as authors in Fertility and Sterility, knew that the article had been previously published in the Korean Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In accordance with journal policy, Dr. Lee has been barred from publishing in Fertility and Sterility for three years.
