Abstract
Recommendations: There is good (class A) evidence that current ultrasound technology can distinguish between normal and abnormal pregnancies in the first trimester. There is good (classA) evidence that transvaginal ultrasound in conjunction with quantitative-HCG can diagnose ectopic pregnancy.
