Abstract
We report the case of a 74-year-old patient who was referred to the gynecology department of our hospital because of a 12 cm pelvic tumor. The patient reported chronic pain in the left iliac fossa that had increased in the previous few months. Abdominal ultrasound showed a cystic formation of 116 Ã 96 mm without septi or papillae. Tumor markers were negative. Hysterectomy and double annexectomy were performed. The histological diagnosis was endometrioma of the left ovary.
