Abstract
Angiosarcoma of the breast is a rare and often misdiagnosed disease with a poor prognosis. The treatment is early complete surgical excision of the mass with adequate margins. Many authors recommend mastectomy. Local recurrence is frequent and indicates poor prognosis, although it does not rule out a further intervention, even with curative intent. The role of adjuvant therapy remains unclear.
