Abstract
Pelvic inflammatory disease causes frecuently surgical operations. Laparoscopy is the elected surgical technique. Hospital stay is prolonged. In few cases, Chlamydia trachomatis is identified as the pathogen agent. The microorganisms more isolated are the aerobic gram-negative bacillus.
