Abstract
The introduction of pelvic arterial embolization in the management of postpartum hemorrhage refractory to medical treatment avoids emergency obstetric hysterectomy, which used to be required in most cases, with the possibility of preserving fertility. Nevertheless, there are still only a few published cases of pregnancies after embolization of both uterine arteries for an obstetric cause.
