Abstract
The main goal of plastic and reconstructive surgery of the foot is to restore a foot as normal as possible, both aesthetically and functionally. In the last decades, several surgical techniques have been developed, based on the improved knowledge of vascular supply to the body. In this article, the main surgical options f soft tissue reconstruction are described, focusing on patient selection and indications, advantages and disadvantages of each method.
