► Double agreement in possessor doubling in German does not involve double Agree. ► The relationship between possessor and possessive pronoun is anaphoric. ► Possessor case is assigned by N. ► Case assignment within DP fully conforms to the Agree model. ► The analysis can be extended to possessor agreement in languages like Turkish.
