Abstract
The principle challenge of hip arthroscopy is effective access to the joint for addressing various pathological lesions. The supine method and its variations described here have proven to be reliable and reproducible. The understanding of hip disease continues to evolve with expanding indications for arthroscopic intervention. This arthroscopic methodology provides the foundation for addressing these current and future needs.
