Abstract
We present a case of a 52 year old woman, without background of interest, who came to the Rehabilitation out-patient clinic due to a lumbal-sciatic picture of three months evolution that did not respond to the drug treatment prescribed. Rehabilitation treatment was prescribed due to the suspicion of disc protrusion. A lumbar synovial cyst was seen in the MRI. Due to the persistence of the symptoms, the patients underwent surgery, presenting good evolution.
