Abstract
Pharynx is an aerodigestive crossway that is involved in breathing, phonation, taste and smell sense. Pharynx access is easy for the physician; frequently, it is the site of functional complain. There are many aetiologies for pharynx complains: they may be of local or general, or gastric or naso-sinusal origin. Neoplasia has to be considered in case of any pharyngeal lesion in a tobacco-addicted patient. Careful examination and adequate investigations are conditions for efficient therapeutic management.
