Abstract
Conclusions: EUS-FNA is minimally invasive, accurate, and fast. Anatomical areas can be reached that are inaccessible for cervical mediastinoscopy. EUS-FNA is useful for the staging of lung cancer or the assessment and diagnosis of abnormalities in the posterior mediastinum.
