Abstract
Ambulatory laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a safe and effective procedure. Operating time, correct dissection of gallbladder structures and hemorrhage of the gallbladder hilus, especially of the cystic artery, play a major role in the success or failure of ambulatory laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
