Abstract
This was the first study of organochlorine compounds with a national population-based sample. Two factors that made the study feasible deserve emphasis. First, being able to “piggy-back” on another study. Second, pooling of samples to reduce analytic expenses. It is hoped that the methods used in this study will form the basis for other studies investigating organochlorine concentrations in national populations.
