Abstract
We consider possibilities for pairs (G,H), where G is a group, H a subgroup, and G is the union of conjugates of H. For instance, if G is locally finite and H finite, then G=H; and the same holds without the hypothesis of local finiteness if H is isomorphic with the alternating group A5.
