Abstract
We consider the family of difference equations of the form xn+1=âiâZk+2â{j,l}xnâi+xnâjxnâl+AâiâZk+2â{s,t}xnâi+xnâsxnât+A,n=0,1,â¦, where kâ{0,1,â¦}, j,l,s,tâZk+2â¡{0,1,â¦,k+2} with jâ l and sâ t, A is nonnegative and the initial values xâkâ2,xâkâ1,â¦,x0 are positive real numbers. For these difference equations, we prove that the unique equilibrium x¯=1 is globally asymptotically stable.
