Abstract
The method of the numerical decision of algebraic equations based on the formalism of Bayes' interpretation is stated. The vector of roots of the equation is delivered by the operator from a priori area, of which its existence is suspected. The operator uses only operations of integration on this area or by its parts. The computer program, realizing the method, contains the functions which are included in a software package, MATLAB 5.x. The efficiency of the method is illustrated practically by the exact decisions of several systems of nonlinear algebraic equations with a four-dimensional vector of roots, and also the decision of two-point boundary-value problem for a system of nonlinear differential equations whose order is equal to 6.
